FAREWELL TO MENTORS
The CMI would like to thank our 2011-2012 peer mentors that will not be with us next year for their dedication and commitment to OU, CMI, and their mentees. Melissa Thompson, Angie Yee, Brittani Burroughs, Vanity Ellis, Katie Koltys, Brandon Lanyon, Jason Newman, Sean Cannady, and Alexa Van Vliet will be greatly missed.
CMI STUDENTS CONTINUE TO IMPRESS
Emily Tissot, former CMI Peer Mentor and 2011 KOD Award Recipient, has been awarded the 2012 Matilda R. Wilson Award.
Shakita Billy, CMI CORE Student, has been awarded the 2012 Human Relations Award.
Kyle Vieth, CMI sophomore scholar, has been awarded the SBA Tower Scholarship.
Raya Hollis, CMI CORE Student, won second place in the 2011 Writing Excellence contest Poster Presentation.
Ammar Asbahi, CMI sophomore scholar and CORE Ambassador, has been elected Vice President for the Muslim Student Association.
