MEET OUR NEW GRAPHIC DESIGN/MARKETING INTERN
Melina Lescoe is the
Marketing/Graphic Design Intern for the
Center for Multicultural Initiatives. Melina is a Freshman
at Oakland
University majoring in English and Cinema Studies. She is an Oakland
University Trustee Academic Success (OUTAS) scholar and a
member of the
Honors College. In her spare time, Melina enjoys drawing,
watching movies, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

BECOME A 2012-2013 CORE AMBASSADOR
The CORE Ambassadors are a component of the CORE Program. The Center for Multicultural Initiatives is seeking OU students that will continue the program's tradition of excellence while gaining solid leadership skills from the Ambassador experience.
Do you have what it takes to be a CMI CORE Ambassador?
Eligibility requirements include: • Approved Work Study • A minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average • Enrolled full time in OU courses • Campus and/or community involvement • The ability to perform responsibly in a leadership role • Solid interpersonal skills • Great role model
Application due: Monday, March 5, 2012, by 5:00pm in the CMI office Interviews held the week of: Monday, March 19, 2012 Final decision will be made: Monday, March 26, 2012

COMBINED REGISTRATIONWe are now three weeks away from combined fall and winter registration. Check your advising unit walk-in hours for any last minute concerns or quick questions. Go to oakland.edu/advising for contact information. Verify your registration time and date on the Registrar's Office Web site. MIDSEMESTER EVALUATIONS
Mid-semester evaluations for students in 100-and 200-level courses have been posted at https://sail.oakland.edu. We now have 7 weeks left in the semester. Now is the time to meet with your professor and create a plan to successfully complete this semester! |
