African American Celebration 2011 was a huge success and we want to thank everyone that supported the events throughout the month. We look forward to seeing you at next years events!
As a reminder, the Beautifully Black Fashion Show has been rescheduled to Tuesday, March 29th from 7-10pm in the Gold Rooms, OC. This event is a part of African American Celebration but was postponed due to weather.

FINANCIAL AID
Financial Aid 2011-2012 FAFSA application is now available at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Submit your 2011-2012 FAFSA on the Web Applications as soon as possible to avoid loss of aid! Also, read about the Revised FAFSA Form aiming to ease the financial aid process for students!
COMBINED REGISTRATION
We are now two weeks away from combined fall and winter registration. Check your advising unit walk-in hours for any last minute concerns or quick questions. Go to oakland.edu/advising for contact information. Verify your registration time and date on the Registrar's Office Web site.
MIDSEMESTER EVALUATIONS
Mid-semester evaluations for students in 100-and 200-level courses have been posted at https://sail.oakland.edu. We now have 5 weeks left in the semester. Now is the time to meet with your professor and strategize how to successfully complete this semester!
