Lunch and Launch to aid in understanding Google+ for business
Sterling Heights, Mich. – As the new kid on the social media block, Google+ may be off many business leaders' radar. David Benjamin, social media director and one of the original founders of SalesBasix, will show attendees of the Macomb-OU INCubator's next Lunch and Launch event that it may be time to change this.
During the discussion, set for noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 12, Benjamin will explain how to navigate Google+ and ways this networking tool can be leveraged to help grow business.
As social media director of SalesBasix, a sales and marketing e-learning company based in metro Detroit, Benjamin is responsible for all digital communications, disseminating company content, as well as sharing industry information. In addition, he creates written content and social media modules.
In 2009, Benjamin served as an advisory board member of SE MI Recruiter Connection, a professional and social network for recruiters and corporate staffing professionals in the greater Detroit/Southeast Michigan area. He is also a sought after speaker on the topics of sales, marketing, social media and public relations.
The free lecture will include a question and answer period. Attendees should bring their own lunch, though beverages and dessert will be provided.
Lunch and Launch events take place in the Velocity building at 6633 Eighteen Mile Road in Sterling Heights. Those interested in attending the upcoming lecture are asked to register in advance by contacting Joan Carleton at (586) 884-9324 or e-mailing to firstname.lastname@example.org.
