CMI STUDENTS CONTINUE TO IMPRESSSubha Hanif, Freshman and Pre-Med Major has been accepted into the University of Virginia School of Medicine's Summer Medical and Dental Education Program (SMDEP).Subha applied to this program and will receive, a FREE (full tuition, housing, and meals) six-week summer academic enrichment program that offers freshman and sophomore college students intensive and personalized medical and dental school preparation.Tenira Townsend, Junior, Biochemistry Major was accepted into the Summer Research Opportunity Program at the University of Michigan. The program provides a unique opportunity to conduct independent research projects in biological sciences or chemistry that will expose students to the techniques and processes of research under the guidance of a faculty mentor.Tenira applied and was one of the few accepted to do hands on research in this 10 week residential program where she will work one-on-one with a scientist for 40 hours a week.
