To kick off the summer season, the Social Media Club Detroit will cover the importance of creating valuable content in a session designed to teach you how to use social media for your business.

In this class, Daivd Murray, manager of social media for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, will focus on building a strong content bubble and blogging best practices. More specifically, focus will be directed on what type of content should be written, the platforms that make the most sense, how to promote a blog and how often to post. This class is ideally suited for business owners large and small, students and communication professionals.

David is the founder of Social Media Club Detroit, and is a national speaker on digital communications and social media best practices. He has spoken at BlogWorld and TEDx events. David has also been featured in Wall Street Journal Online and David Meerman Scott's book, "The New Rules of PR and Marketing."
