Lunch and Launch speaker to share tips on social media campaigns
Sterling Heights, Mich. – On Thursday, Aug. 9, the Macomb-OU INCubator will welcome Sola Obayan, owner and principal consultant at BTO Solutions LLC, to present a Lunch and Launch discussion on "How to Run a Social Media Campaign: Marketing That is Affordable and Effective for Your Small Business."
An Online Marketing Specialist with more than 13 years of experience, Obayan will explain how small businesses can take advantage of social media marketing, which is typically more affordable and effective than traditional marketing. This, she will argue, makes a presence on social networks a must for startups and small businesses.
At BTO Solutions, Obayan develops and executes integrated solutions for growing brands. Her mission is to create a powerful online presence for all Michigan-based businesses. She is also the Founder of Social Media is a Party!, a bi-monthly event designed to demonstrate the power of social media to local professionals in a fun and laid back environment.
Obayan helped found the Social Media Association of Michigan (SMAMi) and serves on the Planning Committee for LiveWorkDetroit! and the Advisory Board of PeopleMovers.com.
The free lecture set from 12-1 p.m., will include a question and answer period. Attendees should bring their own lunch, though beverages and dessert will be provided.
Lunch and Launch events take place in the Velocity building at 6633 Eighteen Mile Road in Sterling Heights. Those interested in attending the upcoming lecture are asked to register in advance by contacting Joan Carleton at (586) 884-9324 or e-mailing to email@example.com.
