Joan Fogler, longtime Rochester resident, shares an oral history that covers her early days as a waitress at the historic Red Knapp's Dairy Bar to her current position as Oakland Township Supervisor. Fogler's years in Rochester include a memorable stint as the creator of the famous Red Knapp's Malt recipe, weekends working at the Fogler family farm, and a lifetime of community service. This oral history features Matthew K. Tabor, a senior master Sargent in the US ANG, a Charter member of the Theta Chi Fraternity. He attended Oakland University for two years before joining the military. He describes the founding of Theta Chi, the first Greek organization at Oakland University.
