OU Moment

Has this scene really changed much in the years since this circa 1960s photo was taken in OU’s bookstore? Probably not, however the scenery has changed quite a bit recently for Oakland students queuing up to buy books for their new classes. In April, the newly renovated Barnes & Noble at OU store was officially opened. Located in the lower level of the Oakland Center, the bookstore renovations included a reconfiguration of the store, and new paint, flooring, carpet and lighting. The store also offers 24-hour access through the bookstore’s website and book pickup and delivery options. In addition, Barnes & Noble has added the Grizz Express, a quick-stop shop across from the food court in the Oakland Center.
