OU receives $15 million gift
Oakland University has received a $15 million bequest – the largest single gift to the university in its history. The donation, given anonymously, will fund several programs, including a $4 million lead gift to support the Oakland University Beaumont School of Medicine deanship. It also is the first lead gift for the medical school.

Twenty four students will be able to enroll in an accelerated two-year bachelor of science in nursing program each fall, thanks to a $2 million endowed professorship in Oakland University’s School of Nursing. The professorship was created by Crittenton Hospital Medical Center Foundation.
