1. Motion from the School of Business Administration to approve a revised Constitution. (Mr. Murphy)

MOVED that the Senate recommend to the President and the Board of Trustees approval of the new Constitution of the School of Business Administration.

First reading: Debatable but not eligible for final vote at this meeting. Senate protocol holds constitutions to be unamendable from the floor. If revisions seem to be needed, the document will be referred to its authors for reconsideration.

Comment: SBA revised 2008 Constitution with changes indicated;    SBA Constitution 2008 as revised. 

2. Procedural motion from the Steering Committee to staff  a Senate standing committee. (Ms. Howell)

MOVED that the person listed below be appointed to the Senate standing committee:

University Committee on Undergraduate Instruction (CAS -- Social Science)
Roger Larocca -- Winter 2009 (replacing David Dulio)

Procedural motion: Debatable, amendable, and eligible for final vote.
