Motion from the Steering Committee to recommend approval of the Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree program. (Ms. Mittelstaedt)

MOVED that the Senate recommend to the President and Board of Trustees approval of a program leading to the  Doctor of Nursing Practice.

Comment: (A)  The proposal.  (B) Graduate Council's Questions.  (c) Graduate Council approval memo.

Second reading: Debatable, amendable, and eligible for final vote.

D. New Business

1. Motion from the Steering Committee to recommend approval of a Ph.D. program in Music Education. (Ms. Stein)

MOVED that the Senate recommend to the President and Board of Trustees approval of a program leading to the
Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Music Education.

First reading: Debatable, amendable, but not eligible for final vote at this meeting.

2. Procedural motion from the Steering Committee to change the prospective date of the April Senate meeting. (Mr. Tracy)

MOVED that the date of the April Senate meeting be changed from April 20 to April 13.

Comment: The date of April 20 conflicts with the university final exam schedule.

Procedural Motion: Debatable, amendable, and eligible for final vote.

3. Procedural motion from the Steering Committee to staff a Senate standing committee. (Mr. Lepkowski)

MOVED that the person listed below be appointed to the committee designated:
