Approval of minutes of 17 November meeting.
C. Old Business
Motion to amend Senate rules of operation for the election of members to the Steering Committee. (Ms. Stein)
MOVED that the Senate rules of operation be amended so that elections of members to the Steering Committee are not included under the provisions of recorded votes. In particular, such elections in cases for which there are more nominees than positions to be filled shall be by anonymous paper ballots.
Second reading: Debatable, amendable, and eligible for final vote.
D. New Business
1. Motion from the Steering Committee to recommend approval of a Master�s program in Safety Management. (Mr. Tracy)
MOVED that the Senate recommend to the President and Board of Trustees approval of a program leading to the Master of Science in Safety Management.
First reading: Debatable, amendable, but not eligible for final vote at this meeting.

2. Motion from the Steering Committee to recommend approval of a the Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree program. (Ms. Mittelstaedt)
MOVED that the Senate recommend to the President and Board of Trustees approval of a program leading to the Doctor of Nursing Practice.
