MOVED that the Bachelor of Science Program in Information Technology be approved.

Second reading: Debatable, amendable, and eligible for final vote.

E. New Business

1.  Motion from the Steering Committee to approve the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Economics. (Ms. McNair)

MOVED that the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Economics be approved.

First reading: Debatable, amendable, but not eligible for final vote at this meeting.


2.  Motion from the Steering Committee on replacement appointments to Senate standing committees. (Mr. Russell)

MOVED that the Senate Steering Committee be authorized to make replacement appointments to Senate standing committees.

First reading: Debatable, amendable, but not eligible for final vote at this meeting.

Comment: This motion authorizes the Steering Committee to replace members of Senate standing committees who are unable to complete their terms. Since it meets every two weeks, the Steering Committee is able to act quickly to make replacement appointments to committees.
