What is MUCI? Michigan Universities Commercialization Initiative is funded by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation through the Michigan Technology Tri-Corridor. MUCI is a collaborative effort to complement and enhance technology transfer activities at Michigan academic and research institutions. Oakland University is one of the nine university members. MUCIs primary contribution to the commercialization efforts is a Challenge Fund that provides gap funding for early-stage life sciences technologies developed at the member institutions.
