1.  Presentation on the Strategic Plan (Dean Frankie), followed by Senate discussion.  The purpose of this discussion  is to inform the community about the Strategic Plan (as distributed to the university community) and discern sentiment toward it.  At this point, the Steering Committee is not placing a motion before the Senate; although a sense-of-the-Senate resolution may be appropriate to provide guidance to Senate committees and the President.

Senators, especially those unable to attend meetings of 12 and 19 May, are encouraged to present their views in writing to the Senate Steering Committee, which will transmit those statements with the plan.
