1. Report on conclusion of the process for selecting Oakland's next president (Mr. Howard F. Sims).
The Chairman of the Board of Trustees has kindly consented to inform the Senate and other interested parties concerning the final steps in the process the Board will employ to select the president. The special time of the meeting was chosen to accommodate Mr. Sims' busy schedule.
Because of the short notice to assemble the Senate, the Steering Committee encourages you to mention this meeting to your colleagues. The meeting is open to all; no regular Senate business will be conducted.
