1.   Report from the Ad Hoc Subcommittee on Conference Center Planning (Mr. Pettengill).

Comment: The appended report (for Senators only) was just received from Mr. Pettengill. In order that Senators have some time to study the document prior  to this meeting, the report is presented herewith without the customary Steering Committee review. Discussion of the report can take place at this meeting in the usual fashion of a first reading.

Mr. Pettengill has scheduled meetings of the ad hoc subcommittee to consider his (chairman's) report and the discussion in this Senate meeting. A final subcommittee report will be presented for formal action at the next meeting of the Senate, scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, in Gold Room B, Oakland Center.
