1. Motion from the School of Nursing to approve a new graduate program in Nurse Anesthesia (Ms. Cass):
MOVED that the Senate recommend to the President and the Board approval of a new track in the Master of Science in Nursing Program, a specialization in Nurse Anesthesia to be offered in partnership with the William Beaumont Hospital.
First Reading: Debatable, amendable, but not eligible for final vote at this meeting.
Comment: The detailed proposal for this program is attached (for senators), along with recommendations by the Graduate Council and the APPC. Approval would add a third programmatic option for graduate students in Nursing.
