A. Old Business
None.
B. New Business
At this time there are no items to come before the Senate for legislative action. There is, however, a major issue before the University--enrollment levels and their relationship to available revenues. The Provost will present to the Senate the historical evolution of the enrollment/funding dilemma, Oakland's actions and reactions to deal with a changing financial and political environment, and our current options. Following this background information there will be an open- forum session of the Senate to discuss our situation and its implications for planning. The guidance of the Senate will be helpful both to short-term policy on enrollment management and to the long-term institutional development being studied by the Academic Policy and Planning Committee.
C. Good and Welfare
