MINUTES
 

PRESENT: Messrs. Davis, Gibson, Hildum, Mascitelli, McKay, Stern, Witt.
ABSENT: Messrs. Akers, Appleton, Barthel, Beardman. Briod, Burdick, Burke, Butler, Cherno, Coon, Cramer, DeMent, Dovaras, Dutton,Fernald, Gerulaitis, Good, Harding, Haskell, Hetenyi, Heubel, Iodice, Phil Johnson, P. J. Johnson. Kent, Kleckner, Letvin, Matthews, Mattis, Obear, 0'Dowd, Righter, Rue, Seeber, Simmons, Springfield, Stoutenburg, Susskind, Swanson, Tipler, Torch, Torgoff.

Mr. Davis called the meeting to order at 4:15 p.m.

*Mr. McKay moved the recommendations of the Academic Standing and Honors Committee that

THE FACULTY OF OAKLAND UNIVERSITY NOMINATE FOR BACHELOR'S DEGREE, CONFERRED AS OF JUNE 20 AND AUGUST 15 THE STUDENTS NAMED IN THE LISTS DISTRIBUTED AT THIS MEETING" ( See Attached Lists.)

Seconded by Mr. Stern. Approved.

* Mr. McKay moved the recommendation of the Academic Standing and Honors Committee that

"THE FACULTY OF OAKLAND UNIVERSITY NOMINATE FOR THE MASTER OF ARTS, MASTER OF SCIENCE IN TEACHING, MASTER OF SCIENCE DEGREES, CONFERRED AS OF AUGUST 15, 1970, THE STUDENTS NAMED IN THE LIST DISTRIBUTED AT THIS MEETING. "  (See attached list)

Seconded by Mr. Mascitelli. Approved.

* Mr. McKay moved the recommendation of the Academic Standing and Honors Committee that

"UNIVERSITY HONORS  BE AWARDED TO THE GRADUATING STUDENTS NAMED IN THE LIST DISTRIBUTED AT THIS MEETING."

Seconded by Mr. Stern. Approved.

Mr. Stern moved to adjourn.

The meeting was adjourned at 4:45 p.m.
