PRESENT: Messrs. J. Appleton, Davis, McKay, Stern, Stoutenburg, Swanson.
ABSENT: Messrs. Akers, Barthel. Beardman, Briod, Burdick, Burke, Butler, Cherno, Coon. Cramer, DeMent, Dovaras, Dutton, Fernald, Gerulaitis, Gibson, Good, Harding, Haskell, Hetenyi, Heubel, Hildum, Iodice, Phil Johnson, P. Johnson, Kent, Kleckner, Letvin, Mascitelli, Matthews, Mattis, Obear, O'Dowd, Righter, Rue, Seeber, Simmons, Springfield, Susskind, Tipler, Torch, Torgoff, Witt.

Mr. Davis reconvened the meeting of May 15, 1970 at 3:30 p.m.

* Mr. McKay moved the recommendation of the Academic Standing and Honors Committee that

"THE MOTIONS PRESENTED TODAY BE APPROVED FOR FINAL VOTE AT THIS MEETING."

Seconded by Mr. Stern. Approved.

* Mr. McKay moved the recommendation of the Academic Standing and Honors Committee that

"THE FACULTY OF OAKLAND UNIVERSITY NOMINATE FOR THE MASTER OF ARTS, MASTER OF ARTS IN TEACHING, MASTER OF SCIENCE DEGREES, CONFERRED AS OF APRIL 25, 1970, THE STUDENTS NAMED IN THE LIST DISTRIBUTED AT THIS MEETING." ( SEE ATTACHED LIST.)

Seconded by Mr. Stern. Approved.

* Mr. McKay moved the recommendation of the Academic Standing and Honors Committee

"TO AMEND THE BACHELOR'S DEGREE LIST OF GRADUATES CONFERRED AS OF APRIL 25, 1970 TO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING NAMES: MARGARET ROSE RUSSELL, STUDENT NUMBER 12348, POLITICAL SCIENCE-LIBERAL ARTS AND LOUISE TERESE KEATING, STUDENT NUMBER 19090, SOCIOLOGY- LIBERAL ARTS.

Seconded by Mr. Appleton. Approved.

* Mr. McKay moved the recommendation of the Academic Standing and Honors Committee

"TO AMEND THE BACHELOR'S DEGREE LIST OF GRADUATES CONFERRED AS OF APRIL 25, 1970 TO DELETE THE FOLLOWING NAME: BARRY WAYNE MCKENDRICK, STUDENT NUMBER 11314, BIOLOGY-LIBERAL ARTS.

Seconded by Mr. Swanson. Approved.

Mr. Stern moved that the meeting be adjourned. Seconded by Mr. Appleton.

Meeting adjourned at 4:00 p.m.
