Re: Special meeting of the University Senate

There will be a special meeting of the University Senate on Wednesday, January 21, at 3 p.m. in the Gold Room of the Oakland Center.

All members of the university community are invited to attend.

The meeting will be devoted exclusively to a report on the issues of the chancellorship and independence for the university by the representatives from Oakland who made presentations to the Board of Trustees last Friday.

Reporting to the university community at this special meeting will be representatives from the Steering, Committee, the Oakland Chapter of the American Association of University Professors, the Administrative-Professional Association, the University Professional Librarians, the Employees Local 1418, the Clerical-Technical Employees Association and the Alumni Council.
