The next meeting of the University Senate will be held on Thursday, August 7, at 3:30 p.m. in Rooms 126-27 in the Oakland Center.

A. New Business

1. Recommendations from the Academic Standing and Honors Committee. (Mr. McKay)

a. THAT THE MOTIONS PRESENTED BELOW BE APPROVED FOR FINAL VOTE AT THIS MEETING.

b. THAT THE FACULTY OF OAKLAND UNIVERSITY AUTHORIZE THE POTENTIAL GRADUATES AT THE BACHELOR'S AND MASTER'S DEGREE LEVELS, NAMED IN A LIST TO BE DISTRIBUTED AT THE MEETING, TO PARTICIPATE IN THE FIFTH AUGUST COMMENCEMENT ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 16, 1969.

c. THAT UNIVERSITY HONORS BE AWARDED CONTINGENT UPON THE CONFERRAL OF THE DEGREE TO THE POTENTIAL GRADUATES NAMED IN A LIST TO BE DISTRIBUTED AT THIS MEETING.

The Academic Standing and Honors Committee will report to the Senate on departmental honors as determined by the schools and colleges.
