MINUTES
PRESENT: Messrs. Booth, Hildum, Collins, Dutton, Gibson, Haden, Beardslee, Hetenyi, Heubel, Hammerle, Johnson, O'Dowd, Stoutenburg, Moeller, Swanson, Torch
ABSENT: Messrs. Butler, Brace, G. Brown, M. Brown, Burke, Cameron, DiChiera, Harding, Hough, Lyons, Lowy, Malm, Marz, Matthews, Mobley, Sargent, Simmons, Stubblefield, Tipler, Tomboulian, Vann, Varner, Williamson

Provost O'Dowd called the meeting to order at 4:15 p.m.
Mr. Dutton moved to accept the minutes of April 18, meeting of the Senate. Seconded by Mr. Hildum. Approved.
NEW BUSINESS
Mr. Hammerle moved to make item A l a of the agenda and the additions to the University Honors list eligible for vote today. Seconded by Mr. Hildum. Approved.
Mr. Dutton moved the recommendation of the Committee on Academic Standing and Baccalaureate Honors, "that the faculty of Oakland University nominates the undergraduate students named in the list to be distributed at the meeting to receive the designated bachelor's and master's degrees as of April 22, 1967." (See attachment) Seconded by Mr. Hetenyi.
Mr. Atkinson explained that this list differed from that presented on April 18. Seven students were removed from the list because they were unable to meet the requirements for graduation.
The motion was then approved.
Mr. Dutton moved the recommendation of the Committee on Academic Standing and Baccalaureate Honors that the following students be added to the University Honors list for the winter semester 1967; Miss Carol Dawn Drahner, magna cum laude and Mr. Michael Louis Dobosenski, cum laude. Seconded by Mr. Johnson. Approved.
Meeting adjourned at 4:30 p.m.
