Minutes

PRESENT: Messrs. BEARDSLEE, CHERNO, CLARKE, COLLINS, EKLUND, HAMMERLE, HETENYI, HILDUM, HUCKER, MCKAY, MOBLEY, O'DOWD, SELLS, SUMMONS, SUSSKIND, SWANSON, VARNER and WILDER.
ABSENT: Messrs. APPLETON, BROWN. M., BURDICK, GALLOWAY, HADEN, HEUBEL, HOOPES, HOWES, LEE, LOWY, MAHER, MATTHEWS, OBEAR, STOUTENBURG, STUBBLEFIELD, TAFOYA, TOMBOULIAN, and WILLIAMSON.
GUESTS: Messrs. ATKINSON and WODITSCH.

The meeting was called to order by Chancellor Varner at 10:10 a.m.

Mr. Sells moved the recommendation of the Academic Standing and Honors Committee to accept the attached list of August graduates and their majors as presented by the Office of the Registrar. Seconded by Mr. Hildum. Approved.

Mr. Sells presented the Academic Standing and Honors Committee's recommendation for University Honors and moved the addition of Donna Louise Sachs. Seconded by Mr.n Hetenyi.  Approved.

Mr. Sells moved the recommendation of the Academic Standing and Honors Committee to accept the attached list of students for University Honors now including Donna Louise Sachs. Seconded by Mr. Hetenyi. Approved.

Mr. Sells moved the recommendation of the Academic Standing and Honors Committee to accept the attached list of Departmental Honors. Seconded by Mr. Simmons. Approved.
