Subject: Admissions Criteria and Procedures Task Force
Since it has been several years since Oakland has closely examined its admissions criteria and procedures, I am appointing a task force to look at them. Members (the list is below) have been drawn from a large number of campus constituencies.
The charge for the group is: to review Oakland's admissions criteria and procedures in light of the Enrollment Planning Report and the OU Vision 2010 presentations for the purpose of recommending modifications to the present policies or reaffirming them.
I ask that the task force work through the summer and have a set of recommendations (for implementation for Fall 2003 as undergraduate admissions materials need 18 month's lead time) ready for Governance review in September.
