Leigh Dzwik joined the Office of Academic Affairs in August 2002 as the Coordinator of Faculty Human Resources and was promoted to her current position in January 2008. Before her position at Oakland University, she worked in the Human Resource function for companies such as Textron Automotive, Automotive Composites Company (a division of Raybestos), and The Classic Companies.
Ms. Dzwik serves on many university committees including the Human Resources Advisory Council, Academic Affairs Administrative Group, HR Banner Committee, Banner Shared Data Committee, and the Security Advisory Council. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Development from Oakland University, Master of Business Administration degree from Wayne State University, and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Philosophy degree in Educational Leadership from Oakland University.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate faculty payroll services.
- Manage record retention of faculty personnel files.
- Gather and analyze data for internal and external agencies.
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies.
- Work with Assistant Deans in interpreting contract and university policies affecting faculty hiring.
