As the next generation of Oakland University alumni, students are the reason it's great to be a Golden Grizzly. The Oakland University Alumni Association has a number of programs that connect students and alumni, providing valuable job networking opportunities, social events and the continuity from generation to generation.
Future Alumni Network (FANs)
The Future Alumni Network (FANs) is a student organization that introduces undergraduates to Oakland University’s Alumni Association and offers activities and services to help them become engaged in the university after graduation. The group also encourages other students to take active ownership in the university and to help integrate the Alumni Association into their lives.
Dinner with a Dozen Grizzlies
One of the Future Alumni Network’s newest traditions is Dinner with a Dozen Grizzlies. Based on UCLA's award-winning program, Dinner with a Dozen Grizzlies is built on a simple idea: alumni host dinners in their homes for students, faculty and fellow alumni in an effort to make OU a warmer, friendlier place.
