Oakland University has designed an online course to educate faculty, staff and students about campus violence, including its common causes, early warning signs and prevention strategies. The Preventing Campus Violence course runs about 15 minutes in length.

If you would like more information on preventing violence at Oakland University, or to arrange a group training session led by Student Affairs staff members, please call the Dean of Students Office at (248) 370-3352.

In addition, University Human Resources occasionally offers training courses related to emergency preparedness and response. Visit the Faculty & Staff Training Web page for a full list of available courses.
