The Children's Tradebook Examination Center, founded by Dr. Jane Bingham, is comprised of current children's books supplied by publishers and arranged alphabetically by publisher. As a new year begins, books from the previous year are integrated into the general collection.
The Diversity Collection is integrated within the literature collection. Materials on race, culture, ethnicity, religion, gender and gay/lesbian issues are included in this collection and can be accessed through the Voyager Catalog by doing a keyword search for "ERL diversity collection."
The Professional Development Collection: literature and electronic media that supports all disciplines in the School of Education and Human Services.
K-12 textbooks cover all education disciplines, including foreign language.
Reference materials offer support for the Children's Literature Collection.
Course reserves: books, required readings, answer keys, tests, etc., placed on reserve by instructors for their classes' use. They are kept at the ERL Circulation desk. Circulation of these items may be restricted.
