• The program in Nagoya, Japan, established in 1977, features two semesters of study at Nanzan and is based on an exchange of students. One year of Japanese language required. • The British Studies at Oxford program, established in 1976, operates only in the summer, offering two separate three-week sessions.

• The program at the University of Oldenburg in Oldenburg, Germany, was established in 2000, and allows students to study one or two semesters while living in a dormitory, a shared flat, or with a family. Courses are taught in German. Two years of college-level German required. Unpaid internships may also be available within the University of Oldenburg.
