Presidents Council
OU President Gary Russi is serving as chair of the Presidents Council for the state universities of MichiganĀ for the 2006-08 term and also served for the 2004-06 term. The Lansing-based Presidents Council is a nonprofit higher education association serving Michigan's 15 state universities. The primary mission of the Presidents Council is to advocate higher education as a public good and to promote its collective value in serving the public interest and the state of Michigan.
