SEHS - Adult Career Counseling Center
What We Do
The Adult Career Counseling Center (ACCC) offers NO COST career guidance services to members of the community. The ACCC helps individuals who are considering a career change or are simply reviewing possible career options. While we are not a job placement center, if you follow the section entitled "Related Links" on the left, you will find some assistance with looking for employment along with other useful information.

We can assist you with:
  • Self assessment
  • Identification of skills, interests and values
  • Decision making
  • Occupational exploration
  • Development of job interviewing skills
  • Resume and cover letter writing

To schedule an appointment please contact us at (248) 370-3092.

If you have questions or comments about the ACCC, please send an e-mail to accc@oakland.edu.

CAREER ADVISORS:  Master's level graduate students and PhD candidates, under the supervision of a counselor who has earned the designation of Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Nationally Certified Career Counselor (NCCC).
