Graduate course for ISE and Engineering Management students

Project-based Experience
Gain real-life experience by developing a project of your choice which may be applied to a multitude of industries including non-profit, for-profit, healthcare, manufacturing and service. Action-focused with on-site teams, students will learn and apply process and quality improvement, operations, facility and Lean management.
Small Business to Manufacturing Operations
Previous projects have ranged from Lean in barber shop operations to plant relocation management to resolving a specific engineering problem. Teams will have on-site opportunities to analyze and apply Lean concepts and tools in the work environment.
Advance Your Career
This hands-on, multidisciplinary course enables students to acquire knowledge and practice in Lean principles and application by incorporating a self-selected project. Skills obtained in the course can lead to new opportunities within your organization or used as a résumé builder.
