Craig T. Hartrick, M.D., D.A.B.P.M., F.I.P.P., Professor of Biomedical Sciences and Anesthesiology, and Discipline Director of Pharmacology, Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine

Dr. Craig T. Hartrick received a B.S. in chemical engineering at Michigan State University and an M.D. from Wayne State University. He has more than 25 years of experience as a Beaumont physician specializing in anesthesiology and pain management.

He has more than 200 publications including textbooks and chapters, original research, published abstracts, commentary and editorials. Dr. Hartrick has provided over 70 invited lectures outside of Beaumont Health System in 12 states and 10 countries as well as more than 70 presentations of scientific research at national and international proceedings.

In addition to teaching at OUWB, he has taught classes at Oakland University’s School of Health Sciences as a clinical professor. He is on the Executive Board of the World Institute of Pain, Secretary of the WIP Foundation, board examiner for the Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice , and Editor-in-Chief of the journal Pain Practice.
