Pontiac Oakland Symphony

In his 14th year as the Music Director and Principal Conductor of the Pontiac Oakland Symphony, Dr. Gregory Cunningham also serves as the Doris and Paul Travis Associate Professor of Music at Oakland University and is a frequent guest conductor and clinician of orchestras and bands throughout the United States.

The 2010-2011 Pontiac Oakland Symphony season marks its 56th year of providing patrons with outstanding live performances of some of the finest traditional and contemporary orchestral repertoire of the past 300 years.

Comprised of many of the finest professional musicians in southeastern Michigan, the orchestra enjoys a strong and vital affiliation with Oakland University. Members of the university's applied music faculty and its most accomplished music students complete the orchestra's roster.
