Meet the CLIC-form students
Here is a personal introduction to some of our CLIC-form students:

IONUT CLAUDIU HARTA is a junior mechanical engineering student born in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He is also an OU Presidential Scholar. The summer before joining CLIC-Form, he took part in a research project in the area of tribology which resulted in a presentation at the 2013 SAE World Congress and a publication in the SAE International Journal of Fuels and Lubricants. His summer 2013 CLIC-Form project focuses on defining a spotting and bearing standard for stamping dies as they are built. He is stationed at Mt. Elliott Tool and Die for summer 2013. |

JOSHUA KORTE has completed his sophomore year in mechanical engineering. In 2012 he was an SVR with Chrysler at Jefferson North Assembly Plant working in assembly. In 2013 he again interned with Chrysler, stationed at the Chrysler Tech Center as part of Die Quality Engineering. |

STEPHEN POWELL is a third-year undergraduate student in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Oakland University. His academic areas of interest are in alternative energy research as well as a growing interest in sheet metal forming through the CLIC-Form Program. In his free time, Stephen enjoys playing a multitude of musical instruments, including the guitar, drums, and piano. |

MICHELLE RISTOVSKI is an undergraduate student majoring in mechanical engineering at Oakland University. During her freshman year of college, she was a research assistant under the Associate Dean of Engineering, involving formability of steel and aluminum which included running draw–bead simulation type tests and post-processing results. She has successfully completed one internship between the Chrysler Tech Center (Auburn Hills, Michigan) and Sterling Stamping Plant (Sterling Heights, Michigan). Her project entailed working with the progressive dies to help develop new die standards and part guidelines. She then worked as a production supervisor (intern) in the Progressive Press Department during her sophomore year at Sterling Stamping Plant while attending full-time at Oakland University. She is now working on a project at the Warren Stamping Plant (Warren, Michigan) which involves helping to implement problem solving techniques on the shop floor by involving skilled trades and all other members to drive efficiency and overall press improvement. |
