To begin using computing resources at Oakland University, you need a GRIZZLY ID NUMBER and a NetID (which includes email).
1) Get your Grizzly ID Number and PIN
- You will receive multiple communications after you are admitted. Please check the second letter sent by the Office of Admissions. This letter should explain your tuition deposit, SAIL login information, OU email address information, and your new student ID number, called a Grizzly ID number.
- If you cannot locate your second admit letter, please contact the Office of Admissions at (248) 370-3360 and reference that you are missing the second admit letter. Staff members will be happy to assist you.

- If this is your first time creating your PIN number you will need to establish a PIN hint question and answer which you will need to remember.

NOTE:The UTS Helpdesk cannot release Grizzly IDs or Pins in email or over the phone, and you should never send that information to anyone via email.
