Attachments Not Sending in Google

If you are experiencing issues with sending attachments using Webmail powered by Google, we recommend that you make a secure connection to the Google servers and try to resend the attachment. Follow the steps below to make this connection:

  1. Login to webmail.oakland.edu with your NetID and password
  2. After login, confirm the URL address begins with 'http'
  3. Click inside the address bar and add an 's' to the 'http' so that it appears as 'https'
  4. Press enter on your keyboard to reload the website
  5. The website will reload to a secure connection (https) to Google's server
