- When someone calls the general campus phone telephone information operators, the operators use these directories to route phone calls.
- Several university websites link to these directories to provide caller and email information.
- Campus publications for new students point to these directories.
We ask that you take a few minutes to make sure these directories are accurate for your unit.
There are TWO different listing types. The first group is SEARCHES and the second group is PRINTABLE PDF PAGES. The PDF is another way to search; we strongly discourage actual printing because it is out-of-date almost at the moment you print it, given the number of campus moves.
SEARCHES Individual: Click on the PERSON SEARCH tab on the top. Enter in last name, first name. Initial data display will be title and phone; if you then click on SEARCH under MORE DETAIL, you will see job title, office and email address. All of this information comes from the person's individual record in Banner.
In particular, phone and office address come from the OF address type data entered on forms SPAIDEN/PPAIDEN with the address tab. You must update the OF address type in Banner with the correct information. If you are not sure who has access, please check with your department clerical support staff or department chair (Academic Offices can also check with the Office of the Provost). On the left, the printable PDF Listing by Last Name matches this logic, but done for all members at once. Please make sure that your new faculty and any faculty who have changed offices are correctly entered in Banner with an updated OF address type.
Department: Click on the DEPARTMENT SEARCH tab. These are official university departments. If you want to see a department there, you need to talk to Accounting or Finance; this comes from the financial information in university records: FTVORGN table in Banner, with the employees listed linked by job on PEAEMPL to that organization. Your organization has to be created in Banner first and then you as an employee need to be assigned to that org in order to see it in this list. On the left menu, the printable PDF Listing by Department matches this logic.
