Eco Conference

Sustaining Our Planet Earth will be holding a Green Living Conference on Monday, March 4th from 1:00pm-7:00pm for students and the local community. The event, which will be held in the Gold Rooms of the Oakland Center, will educate participants on current environmental issues and healthy eating choices .

The event will feature the following guest speakers and topics:


Clinton River Watershed: Protecting Our Water

Dr. Fay Hansen: Organic Farmers of Oakland University

Professor Marilyn Moradjian: Benefits of Being Vegan

Six Rivers: Conserve. Sustain. Connect.

Sierra Club: Local Green Initiatives

Oakland University Recreation Center: Free Yoga Session


"The Green Living Conference is a great opportunity to learn about how people can get involved to better the environment,” said Alex Hysick, an Oakland University student.
