Laundry rooms are located in each residence hall and in the Matthews Court Townhomes for resident use only. In the Ann V. Nicholson Student Apartments, there is a washer and dryer in each apartment. Laundry service is included in the room and board rate for students living in the residence halls and family housing units. Therefore, the machines are free of charge. Mechanical problems with any washer or dryer should be reported to the Trouble Line at (248) 370-2954.
 
Residence Hall Laundry Rooms
Each residence hall has at least one laundry room that is located on one of the lower floors of the building. The laundry rooms are equipped with Maytag washers and dryers, laundry sinks, chairs and tables. Each machine takes about 30 minutes to wash and 60 minutes to dry. You should never leave your belongings or clothes unattended in any of the laundry rooms.

Hamlin Hall has six washers and six dryers in each tower of the building. The laundry rooms are located on the third floor. Hill House has four washers and four dryers in its laundry room on the first floor. Fitzgerald House has four washers and four dryers. One set is located in each of the four wings of the building. Vandenberg Hall has six washers and six dryers in each tower of the building. The laundry rooms are located on the first floor. Van Wagoner House has four washers and four dryers in its laundry room on the first floor.

Matthews Court Townhomes Laundry Rooms
The Matthews Court has two central laundry rooms with three washers, three dryers, a laundry sink and sorting table in each one. Each Maytag machine takes about 30 minutes to wash and about 60 minutes to dry. You should never leave your belongings or clothes unattended in the laundry rooms.

Washers and dryers are not permitted in the Matthews Court Townhomes.
