Mapping Network Drive

To map(or mount) a network drive you must first have access to a shared folder. SECS students can do this by using the VPN.

In Windows

1. Open Start menu and click on Computer

2. Click on map network drive

3. Choose any available letter for your network drive

4. The network path to you directory is \\dione.secs.oakland.edu\yourusername

5. Check "Reconnect at Logon" if not checked already. Do not check "Connect using different credentials"

6. When asked for a username and password, type your SECS username@secs.oakland.edu or SECS\username and your SECS password.

7. Click Finish
