HC 390 Introduction to the Thesis

DESCRIPTION:

This one-credit-hour course will introduce students to research writing and prepare them for completing their HC Thesis/Project. Students will learn what constitutes a thesis and how to research one in their discipline. They will learn how to organize, present, and document their findings. Students will also make good use of the library and its numerous online resources and databases. A Pass/Fail grade will be assigned based on successful completion of the thesis proposal for their HC Thesis/Project.

*Although this course is online there will be 2 mandatory class sessions; an introductory session and an individual, face to face appointment with the instructor between your rough draft and final proposal.
