DESCRIPTION:

This blended (face to face and online) course provides a basic level of perspective of global health issues and policies in developed and developing countries. Geographical regions and current world events are used to provide students with examples of complex issues such as infections, diseases, nutrition problems and environmental health. Life span health issues are examined from a global perspective. The complexities inherent in improving health on a global scale are explained.
