HC 205 China: Past, Present and Future

DESCRIPTION:

Using an Anthropological approach we will look at China's geography, history and current situation. A goal of the class is to help us understand why the Chinese people think and act the way they do.

We will use a text, read a novel and weekly discuss current events. Grades will be based on weekly quizzes, current event summaries and a final exam. We will learn to read and write about 35 Chinese characters.
