SEMCME Summer Externship Opportunities
The Southeast Michigan Center for Medical Education, formerly OHEP, was established in 1974 for the purpose of coordinating and assisting in the education of medical students, medical residents, and other health professionals. Its primary mission is to stimulate the delivery of quality care through excellence in graduate medical education and faculty development. SEMCME is the largest community based medical education consortium in the Midwest. There are 184 accredited residency and fellowship programs in 76 specialties and sub-specialties, 2,642 approved residency and fellowship positions and over 3,800 university and community faculty.
