Study, rehearse and perform classical plays in amphitheatres in Greece. Classes in acting, voice, movement, modern Greek and theatre history, supplemented by visits to archeological sites and museums.
English is the language of instruction.
This three and a half week program offers students a unique opportunity to take a theatre course in Greece. The first two and a half weeks are spent on the island of Hydra. Students take classes in movement, acting and voice, modern Greek language, and theatre history, and study and rehearse a classical play.

At the end of the rehearsal period, the play is performed on the island of Hydra and in outdoor amphitheaters in Greece. While on tour, students see a performance at the ancient theatre of Epidaurus, visit Delphi, Corinth, Mycenae and a number of archeological sites and museums for a more in-depth understanding of ancient Greek mythology and culture. Free time in Athens affords students a chance to soak in the history and charm of the bustling European city.
