Biography:
Karen A.J. Miller is a specialist in modern American political history. She is broadly concerned with how public policy is formed at the national level. In particular, she is interested in the creation of partisan identity and how politicians use public policy to garner support among voters. Her current research concerns the development of a Republican party identity in the 1920s.
